The software is working fine. It is familiar from other forums that I have used. At least it will be nice for the mods to have full control of the forum, but I hoe the verification codes don't become a pain like they are at some places.Works for me too.

Can post fine although YouTube embedding doesn't work (not that I ever did it before).

I think the verification codes are setup to only appear when you register and make your first post.
Okay, now that we have more than one thread in this section, I've figured out what's going on. You reply, and it dumps you back out into the section the thread is in. I don't think I like it.

I noticed there. Check your profile. There's an option to change it so it returns to the topic.
I think I got it.Did you?
Yes, you did.I think I got it.Did you?
Well, let's see. I posted a couple of times in another section, and both times I was dumped back in the section's list of threads. Also, I don't see any profile setting for this.Yes, you did.I think I got it.Did you?

Found it! It's not obvious. In the menu at the top, hover over Profile, then click on Account Settings. On that page, hover over Modify Profile, then click on Look and Layout. There are controls for the quick reply, where to go after posting, etc. Let's see how it works.Well, let's see. Hmmm. Maybe the setting I changed only affected people who joined before you. I'll take another look.
Apparently, one cannot delete a post?
I suppose if one feels it is really necessary, he/she can always modify the post and delete the content. The post will still be there but the objectionable material will be gone.
Is it possible to put a one hour or so limit on deletes?

If posts are deleted for dishonest or vindictive reasons then I can bring them back.
I refuse to post here until we have a decent colour scheme. :p
No, after what happened with the old forum, <snip> I just don't want 500 posts to suddenly disappear because someone had a bad day.

I'm not quite sure how to interpret that. But thanks for your feedback.
Oh, that's just me expressing shock and astonishment as I try to imagine what it was that might have prompted that comment!Eeyup, well not sure if it was actually 500 but it was certainly a lot. A poster that had been banned shortly before the incident complained to Proboards and got all their posts removed, which was the final straw in causing LO to transition things over to this forum
Did someone really delete 500 old posts?
