I'm not personally interested in producing YouTube content, but I recognize it as a valuable forum for explaining things. I'm simply not talented in that area nor do I have the time to do it. The site began as a place for me to accumulate the answers I'd been giving out again and again, so I chose a format that worked best for me and for that purpose. That was 20 years ago, however.

I absolutely understand this. I do have some experience and, as of now, some time to do videos.
--- Quote ---As for you illustrating the Clavius website content with your own work, I don't have a problem with that as long as it's clear in your presentation whose work is whose. Several teachers and other content producers have reached out to me for permission to use the site content. The rules are the same in all cases: be accurate, and give appropriate credit. If you desire, I'd be happy to review any work you do, but I have no desire or energy for debate on YouTube's terms. You're on your own.

Also understood. I didn't expect you to want any part anyways, I am perfectly happy doing it solo! As for citation/credit, absolutely I'd credit anything that's your work to you. I'd emphasize to in my video my inspiration for doing the series (your site).
No debate required, but I'd love your review whenever I get around to making the video(s).
Thanks again!

Nor debating with YouTubers on other forums such as... IMBd. ;)
Yup, been there and done that. YouTube and Hoax proponents, you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Don't get sucked into making counter claim videos, and close your video content to comments. That's my advice. Stick to the facts: 'here is the hoax claim, here is the explanation to refute the claim.'

Yeah no counter-videos for me. I am making the series and sticking to it alone, basing things on the facts.
As for comments I'm still internally debating whether to leave them on or off. I want to encourage discussion but I do want to avoid the nonsense...
