ALOTS image of Apollo 11 during staging

(1/1)

Peter B:
Good morning everyone

On her Vintage Space channel, Amy Shira Teitel has done a video short on an image of Apollo 11 taken from an ALOTS aircraft, showing Apollo 11 a few seconds after dropping the S-IC.

I've found a good copy of the image on Wikimedia Commons, and confirmed its ID is S69-39958. But I was wondering if there were any higher resolution images available? I can't find anything on AFJ, ALSJ or Apolloarchive, but I accept that could be my research skills.

Thank you!

Given the combination of size, altitude, distance, speed etc. I'd be surprised if there are any higher resolution images of that event. It's certainly the best image of a Saturn V staging that I've ever seen that wasn't captured by film on the rocket itself.
