Sad news, Jim Lovell has passed away.

Godspeed. Of all the Apollo crews, he was the one who personally gave me the most kind attention and answered so many questions. He was one of a kind and he will be sorely missed.

A very fond memory of mine is meeting Jim Lovell at an 'Autographica' event some years ago. I remember him being delighted as I was the first person in the line that day to ask him to sign the Spacecraft Films Apollo 13 set rather than the Tom Hanks movie DVD. Fred Haise and Sy Liebergot also signed it that same day and it's one of my most treasured possessions now.
