Title: I've just read IMDb thread 'A funny thing happened...'
Post by: Sharpeneer on January 07, 2013, 07:09:58 PM
Do I win a prize for reading http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446557/board/thread/133905495?p=1 right to the end?

It might compensate for that section of my life I feel I've wasted. However, I don't believe that it will.

Me trying to learn new things? Yes.

Learing what a 'Gish Gallop' was, and waiting for an answer on the simple solar flare question? Not so much.

He was asked to verify the correlation between x-rays, H-alpha and proton events. He refused about 50 times.....he thinks the duration and significance of an event is indicative of its nature to kill humans in a shielded craft.

He came across as being very obsessive.....a typical CTer who will not answer questions....questions that demonstrate their ignorance of a given subject.

Yep, I think that's a fair summary... which is just as well, 'cos I was about to go back and check, just to make sure I had it right. Phew.
