Title: New Canadian project

Interesting news today about a Canadian company to do a feasibility project for a space elevator. Ever since reading Arthur C Clark's  "The Fountains of Paradise" I've wondered if I would see this in my lifetime.

They should make the carbon nanotubes manufacturing cheaper
