Citizen science - Wildlife spotter

I don't think I've mentioned the above site here before.

It started mid-last year as part of Science Week in Australia. The idea is that you look at photos of scenes in various parts of Australian bush land and record the various animals you see in them. This helps conservation work in these various locations.

I've so far classified 370 images, and found it much easier than trying to classify craters on the Moon.

You might like to give it a try, and in the process see some native Australian wildlife (and some introduced pests), and the wide variety of plant life in Australia too. Over the photos I've seen a few perenties (smaller cousins of the Komodo dragon), a lyrebird, a wombat, and lots of frogs, kangaroos and mallee fowls.
