NASA Lunar Orbiter: Type of camera?

Did the LO satellites use a slit scan camera instead of a normal global shutter camera? I think plane surveillance and other film satellites at the time used a slit camera too.

Also, is there an archive online with all the images from the LO tape rescue project?

The book "The Moon as viewed from Lunar Orbiter" is pretty easy to get hold of at a sensible price on ebay and places like Abebooks.
