Each year the month of Ramadan comes, there are what we call "hidden camera" episodes where famous figures are invited for interviews or so and put under horrific conditions, then are told they fell for the hidden camera and the crew starts apologizing to them. Even Antonio Banderas was called to Morocco and they pretended that there were gas leaks and fires, and each second he would hear an explosion..and someone would carry him outside amidst people pretending to shout and to have caught fire.
Last year, the figures were called for an interview in the midst of the sear, after which , while they come back to shore, some diver would pull the button and the rubber boat starts to drown.. the person driving the boat would pretend to fall in the sear , then blood would come out and a plastic hand or leg, then plastic, but looking so real shark fins would start to roam around.. the person now screaming and holding to what is left of the rubber boat.
The sadism and craziness doesn't end. This year, another program is getting figures to Africa, pretending to go through a safari trip in a cage-like jeep, where the driver stops suddenly claiming that the car has , malfunctioned and he wants to get help. He takes the keys, and then he sees a lion (trained not to attack but to run after the man), and the man would scream and run behind the bushes.. and after a while the lion carries a plastic leg in his mouth. The terrified person is now screaming in the jeep, when lionesses approach the jeep followed by the lion, trying to jump on the jeep and bite here and there. The person would try to press the beep and call for help. another car will come telling them they will call the helicopter help but they should open the box at the rear and call help through the instrument in it. a boa snaked would be waiting and would come out of the box, the person trying to open the door and leave , but recorded lion voices he would hear each time he tries to open the door of the jeep and get out.
the helicopter arrives and the rope falls down, when the crew arrives saying that this was a trick.. the person would cry and curse and shout..
Last year they pretended a plane to be falling and the driver fainting, and people start to faint around that person..and he feels that death is coming close.
it doesn't make the situation any good trying to tell the person that he was safe, and that there was a person holding a gun in case anything wrong happened. the apologies don't matter, and the trick is so, so harsh. This is not a joke, this is sadism and terror, and should be stopped before someone gets a heart attack and dies. I wonder why law doesn't stop them, or whether there is a law that exists against such programs, but enough is enough..there is a degree between fun and the opposite of it
