  • There is no such thing as a stupid question
I went to Grammar school when I was younger, and one of the things it gave me was an appreciation of the richness of the English language. So these days I cringe when I hear just about everything described as "awesome". What happened to all those other great words - incredible, stupendous, fantastic, brilliant, outstanding, unbelievable..and more? So many to choose from, one for almost every situation.... so why is everything just "awesome?"..  OK, rant over....

Could be worse - it might still be "groovy".

Ha.  My cat is named after a bit of his.  We call him D, but his name is El Diablo.  His brother was Don Miguel.

.... so why is everything just "awesome?"..
Seems to be that most things around here are "amazing" rather than "awesome".
