ISF doesn't have https enabled?
« on: July 03, 2020, 05:16:37 PM »
Noticed today that my account at ISF (that's internationalskeptics.com, for those not familiar with it) got signed out of my browser session. OK, that can happen, but going to sign in I got the Firefox "this is not secure" notification as it was http not https. However, trying to go to https://www.internationalskeptics.com fails, because port 443 is not open.

So, anybody know why? Are you able to access the site securely? (It's not as if there's high-security stuff there, but still...)

I'm kind of reluctant to sign on as a result...

Their SSL certificate might have expired.
It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth.
I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth.
I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.

Their SSL certificate might have expired.
Well, that'd be a different error, unless they either deliberately turned off SSL because of it or there's some software that refuses to open the port for an expired cert.
