Well, the first Australian-developed rocket launched yesterday.
It might have crashed after about 10 seconds, but I'd say it was a better success than Vanguard TV-3!
Watching the footage from the (Australian) ABC, it looks like one of the four first stage engines failed about a second after launch, and then something else went wrong a few seconds later - either a cascade from that engine failure, or a second engine failure. I'll leave it to the experts to explain.
But in the meantime, Aussie Aussie Aussie!
