"Curiosity Rover Conspiracy Theorists" (yes folks, they really do exist)....

...keep claiming that NASA is hiding most of the pictures being sent back by MSL (at least, those who acknowledge that MSL is indeed on Mars and not at a secret film studio at Groom Lake, Nevada)

The thing is, all the images taken on every day of  MSL's 1077 days (and counting) on Mars, from all five imaging instruments, are available to anyone for free download.

http://mars.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?s=#/?slide=1077

There are over 260,000 images so far... about 250 images each day. Counting only daylight hours for photo taking, that's about one image every two and a half minutes
Perhaps we should start a new thread about Curiosity?  There appears to be a conspiracy about everything and everybody.  I feel left out nothing about me. ;D

I'm heard a rumor that a youtube video which claims to interview a disgruntled ex-government disinfo agent who showed someone's third cousin a blurry photo of non-parallel lines that couldn't have been taken due to the searing radiation hell of the Van Allen Belts which was clearly photoshopped to show that you look like a normal human, which is unequivocal proof that you are really a lizard-person from Planet X.
The quote "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results" very clearly predates personal computers.

FTFY
If you're not a scientist but you think you've destroyed the foundation of a vast scientific edifice with 10 minutes of Googling, you might want to consider the possibility that you're wrong.

    • Apollo Hoax Debunked
He might be referring to the original hoaxer claim that all of the pictures taken by the moon walkers were perfectly framed; something the hoaxers believe was impossible for a chest-mounted camera. The Apollo proponents simply pointed them to the photo archive and showed them many pictures that were not perfectly framed. If that is the case, your acquaintance fell for a myth created by the hoaxers trying to cover up their past shoddy research skills.

Well Niebru is supposed to be here on September 15th, or was it Planet X or maybe it was later than September 15th.  I can't keep up with all the drival.

OMG! Taking photos at that rate, how could the "rover" possibly move anywhere?

Nah, it won't happen. In my experience these sorts of conspiracy theorists often support each other. As evidence I provide the example of several people with mutually contradictory theories about the origin of cancer: http://www.ratbags.com/rsoles/comment/cancercurers.htm

Some may even believe both conspiracy theories simultaneously, even though they're supposedly mutually contradictory. We only need to remember one of our oldest friends, Dave Cosnette from the UFOs-Aliens site, who seems to simultaneously believe (a) that the Apollo astronauts didn't go to the Moon, and (b) that they found alien structures when they got there.

What?  An electronic camera that only takes one image every 150 seconds!?  I call fake!
