Funny story.
« on: February 27, 2016, 12:07:37 PM »
So, I'm browsing the Apollohoax.net site, and my nine-year-old son noticed that the people who have posted more have titles that are farther out in the solar system.  He suggested that I just post "cool" a million times so I could get to Neptune.  Seems legit, right?

EDIT : Ironically, this very post promoted me to Venus.

I wonder, does this system carry us to Pluto? Or was it demoted here too? :'(

I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth.

Just don't ask me to update the member levels every time a Kuiper Belt Object larger than Pluto is discovered. ;)

I'm sure GoneToPlaid would object to that.
Well, it is like this: The truth doesn't need insults. Insults are the refuge of a darkened mind, a mind that refuses to open and see. Foul language can't outcompete knowledge. And knowledge is the result of education. Education is the result of the wish to know more, not less.

I just saw a poster for Spaceballs 2: The Search For More Money with an image of a twisted/melted Dark Helmet. I hope it's legit, lol!

Do I get to go for a walk along a Pensacola FL beach with my deceased father?

But of course, Mel is a genius IMO.  It would be a great movie, given it has been sometime since a parody has been made.
