The destruction of the Death Star was an inside job....
« on: March 19, 2013, 05:30:27 PM »
Think about it? A farm boy with minimal training in piloting an X Wing Fighter, provided with plans from his sister's own terrorist organisation, is able to destroy the galaxy's most powerful space station that is owned by their own father?

Suddenly it makes much more sense that the Emperor's personal representative would inexplicably leave the Star at a crucial moment to go after mere fighter pilots, thereby being miraculously spared when it's destroyed. Hmmmm......

You doing the CT thing wrong. The thread title should be phrased as a question. "Was the destruction of the Death Star an inside job?" Otherwise people will accuse you of being a crackpot; by just asking questions you come off as willing to change your mind when shown contradictory evidence.

I'm an engineer and have all the answers. The Death Star is like a boat, and I have experience of boats because I'm a consultant to the Swiss Navy. I have calculations but you can't see them.

Assuming a few of this type of boat qualifies as a "navy."

Now you have my confidence, please let me explain to you using nothing more than an appeal to common sense why my theory is true...

Yeah, that gunner had plenty of time to fire, but he never did.
