Peter, sorry to post so long after the fact, but I did find it hilarious. I wish I hadn't seen the title first, because knowing it was about baked beans I knew within a couple of seconds what was going to happen. To the consternation of some of our friends here, I even thought of a somewhat sadistic one-liner response:
"So I guess something does beat an astronaut!"
C'mon, guys, comedy must be granted a wide margin of creative and aesthetic license. And scientific credibility is irrelevant in humor. The monster's movements were totally inconsistent with lunar gravity, too. Welllll, so what?
I, too, was impressed with the graphics. With so many hoax nuts claiming the photography of the Apollo missions was faked, just imagine how easily they will be able to make that claim by the next time anyone goes there.
My main objection is that they should have used a much more manly sounding fart.
