Not knowing much about this petition or how it works (see below), what would be the result? Gubbmint force to acknowledge they landed?

In the UK there is a system where by you get so many names, it will be debated in parliament, I think.

GraterSapien is a great recent find among the voices of sanity and reason. And he does it with such dignity, too. Somehow he always manages to keep his wits as the deniers continually try to drag him down to their level.
